Dinner on the Nile

Wow! Here we are in Jinja, Uganda this evening, sitting along the Nile River getting ready to have a meal at this beautiful place. This is amazing! Such a world of contrasts, we drive past mud huts, and villages with lots of poverty, and then arrive at this resort with a pool, a beautiful restaurant, delicious matooke chips (like fried spicy plantain), sitting on a veranda overlooking the Nile. It is hard to process it all.

    David and Lisa,

    Glad you were able to update us! I'm praying and looking forward to hearing all about it in person. So proud of you two! Just keep putting one foot in front of the other! Hope you are beginning to rest in the assurance that the Lord is taking very good care of your children, Lisa. Hug!!!
